About Me

My photo
Wandering Soul Woman
Good day and welcome to my little corner of the world.... This outdoors lover is in her late 50s with her age rapidly catching up to what was a very active life. I still hike but the terrain has changed and become more gentler. The exploring isn't quite like the days of risking my life as in spelunking in caves and kayaking alone in the ocean. But I still camp! In fact, you might consider me a camping goddess. When I am not camping I think about camping. I am married to my best friend, aka Grizzly Adams, the love of my life. Two doggies are my companions. I am their therapy human as much as they are my my therapy animals. I am a Navy Veteran. I have PTSD related to repeated sexual harassment and assaults. Trauma has affected greatly my bipolar. Outdoors, trees in particular for me mean safety and healing. A well known fact about me is my obsession with all things humorous about sasquatch.
